Home made spicy pizza sauce on the home made pizza base 😉

The oven is waiting to bake u darlinnn!! 😉

Woww!! we made better pizza than Dominos n Pizza hut in US 😀

Ingredients:

For Dough:
3 cups All Purpose Flour/Maida
1 pkt Active Dry Yeast
3 tbsp Oil (Olive oil or Veg. oil)
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp Salt
Some Warm Water (approx 1 1/4 water).
For Sauce:
3 Chopped tomatoes
1 chopped Jalapeno
1/2 Chopped Capsicum
1 chopped onion
2 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Coriander pwdr
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt to taste.
For Topping:
1/2 cup Cheese
1/2 cup sliced veg(Capsicum,onion,tomato etc..)
Some Paneer cubes.

Method:

1. To a 1/2 cup of warm water add the contents of the dry active yeast and also add  sugar and salt to it.

2. Mix it and leave it for a while , say 10 mins.

3. Now to the wide bowl with the All Purpose Flour ,add the above prepared yeast solution and start making the dough just like you make it for chapathi. Add some more water if needed and knead it into a soft smooth dough.

4. Finally grease the dough with the oil evenly and let it rest for about 2 hr.

5. Cover the bowl with a wet cloth/linen.

6. Meanwhile lets prepare the spicy pizza sauce. To a hot kettle with oil add the chopped onions and saute them until golden brown.

7. Add the capsicum, jalapeno, tomatoes and  garlic paste and saute them until they r cooked.

8. Now add the garam masala, coriander pwder and salt and add some water and let them cook for about 10 mins with the lid on.

9. Stir the sauce occasionally and make sure all the tomatoes have dissolved and there are no big chunks.

10. The sauce is now ready and let it cool until the pizza base is ready.

11. Now after an hour or so check the dough, it shud have risen and doubled due to the yeast. Knead it a lill and let it stay the same way for another hour.

12. Preheat the oven to 375F.

13. Once the dough is ready, Now sprinkle some dry flour on the bottom and now place the dough on it and roll it into a thin base of desired thickness.

14. Now place the pizza base on the pizza stole or the cookie sheet.

15. Spread the pizza sauce evenly  on the base and also spread some  generous amount of cheese.

16. Now arrange the sliced vegetables and the paneer cubes on the top.

17. Bake the pizza for about 15-20 mins.

18.The melting of the cheese and the base turning crispy golden brown is the indication that the pizza is ready.

19. After u take the pizza out of the oven let it cool for 2 mins and then cut them into slices using a pizza cutter.

20. Serve the thin crispy spicy indian pizza hot with ketchup.

TitBits 😀

* The dough determines how great your pizza is gonna taste so make sure that the dough is really soft and rolled accordingly for either thin crust or the regular crust.

* Don’t make the pizza clumsy by adding lots of vegetables. Add only few as needed.

* Customize the recipe for the pizza sauce according to your taste. If you r making for children,u can leave out the masalas and also jalapeno. But make sure that the sauce is not very thin otherwise your pizza will become soggy.

* I don’t recommend to store the pizza dough as well as the sauce for not more than a day or 2.

It was a lazy weekend and our taste buds were craving for the Paneer-el-rancho tandoori pizza, the Pizza Hut India Style 🙂  In US none of the pizza stores i.e Dominos,Pizza Hut etc or the local ones were capable of doing any justice to our taste buds. So we decided to make our own pizza 🙂

Trust me! They were really awesome. Spicy and yummy thin crust pizza with onions, tomatoes, capsicum and Paneeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 😀

My god!! Irresistible it was!!

Try this recipe for sure.

Enjoy the Yummy thin crust Spicy Indian style Veggie Pizza!!

Thanks a ton!
